NEMC's Covid-19 Safety Protocols Featured in The Medium
New England Music Camp's Covid-19 response and summer protocols were recently feature in The Medium in an article written by Camp Doctor, Dr. Rebecca Weintraub and Ariadne Labs. Following the closure of our normal camp season, NEMC was able to host a small in-person Chamber Music Intensive the first two weeks of August.
Working with Dr. Weintraub, NEMC was able to set a series of protocols that ranged from campers self-quarantining and testing prior to arrival, masks wearing while indoors, outdoor rehearsals and activities, and daily temperature checks and health screenings. These protocols led to a safe and successful camp that NEMC is looking forward to expanding on next summer for the 85th season.
We cannot thank Dr. Weintraub enough for her guidance and support this summer and for her continued leadership in the fight against Covid-19.
